Fence Building

Y'all,
Here are pictures of our new fence we are building. By the way, I was busy WORKING at my job while these pics were being taken. I put the wire up, but didn't get my picture taken.

Samuel with our first bull.

Looks like we'll have to AI for a while.

These are backwards, but this is the finished product minus hanging the gate.

Matthew cut these cedar line posts off our property.

Daddy and Daniel measuring an H brace.

Setting a corner post.

Using the auger made digging easier. Daddy ran the tractor, Daniel hung on the auger, while Matthew guided it.

Still digging....

Here is our Ford 8n Tractor our Uncle left us. It was built in the late 40s and is still working great.

The Miller Team! Good work, y'all. You can do fences for me any time. In fact, I hope you will help us fence the new Missouri property! I know your Daddy is proud of you.

RG, we know you are a big part of the team, even if you aren't around when the camera is out!

BTW, Granddaddy says he knew that was a Ford tractor the second he saw it -- he used to use one like that on the dairy farm he work on as a teenage boy. He says he agrees -- they are good, reliable old tractors.

Love,
Grandmother

Hey! Nice update! It looks like you all are really making progress.

That old tractor is really coming in handy. The Lord sure knows just what we need when we need it!

I didn't think you could actually get wood posts through that rocky soil. I guess I was wrong. Can you do it w/o an auger?

Love,
Aunt Beth

Everything looks great! (and cold I must say).

Love you all!!

Oh No! Someone must have gotten a hold of the Millers password, Or is this a mirage, or have the Millers actually Updated.:)

The fence looks great Ya'll. I'm sure the auger makes it a whole lot easier.

Hey RG,
Thanks for the update. I have been thinking about ya'll lately. The Youth Fair is in a few weeks...whip popping just won't be the same without those Miller boys!
Tell your mama I said hello.

Well, well, good to see you back! Looks like good hard work! I like working in reduced sweat weather. ;-) Interesting tractor! I imagine older ones are probably easier to work on if you can still get the parts.
