Mission Accomplished!

Well, Benny and I made 3 gallons of lacto-fermented salsa with our abundance of tomatoes and peppers. We were able to use our own onions this year, too! The only thing we had to buy was cilantro. It got too hot too early and our cilantro went to seed already.
Sam helped as well. His job was to push the pulse button on the food processor. It was the perfect job for him, and he was very proud of his contribution.

Those look wonderful! I know you and your little salsalitos are proud of the hard work and accomplishment. I can hardly wait to taste some!

Hmmm, guess a "no response" means we will be picking up three other little salsalitos in TN and bringing them to FL with us???

Love,
Abuelita

Mama,

The rest of the kids are coming back next week. They were coming back this weekend, but Robert didn't think it was prudent for them to traveling on 4th of July weekend. I'm definitely ready for them to be back!

Abby, I will try to send you some salsa down with Grandmother!

Evonne, THanks for all your sweet comments. Hope y'all are doing well!

Hi Katie!
The salsa looks wonderful! I make salsa and I was wondering how much whey you add to the salsa and if you water bath can it afterwards or do you refrigerate it or perhaps something else? We sure did enjoy having your Sis and family over and look forward to seeing them this week as well. Sure wish y'all could make it down to Georgia too!
Much Love, Kim
